Topics to be reviewed during the TMET:
-Education, teaching and learning: A good teacher model and how to implement good teaching tactics to provide a high-quality learning averment for medical students. Besides knowing what education is and how to provide it to guarantee positive results (result based teaching).
Evaluation: the understanding of different ways of advising and evaluation, and the differences between them.
Planning, development and implementation of the curriculum: how to plan a curriculum and develop it to be adequate for medical students, while also learning how to implement said curriculum to fulfill its specific objectives.
Student participation: knowing the roll of students in medical education, how to actively involve them in the decision-making process and the construction of medical education and advocating for their rights.
Professionalism and ethics: knowing the professional behavioral and ethical conduct code that a good leader should follow and what to do when their professionalism or ethics are questioned.
