WHAT IS IT?


A Sub-Regional Training (SRT) IS an international meeting supported by the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA), where members and motivated students from a (sub)region or sometimes even further away can meet and participate in trainings, workshops and small working groups.

SRT is an intensive workshop to train new leaders in health, so that you can get know yourself and each of your abilities, polish them and bring them to light. It is an intrapersonal and interpersonal growth workshop that develops self-confidence, empowers on current health problems and how to deal with it by proposing viable solutions for future coaches and doctors by inspiring, forming and sharing to the university medical community the a spirit of leadership, Teamwork and problem solving.

ABOUT NEIVA

Neiva is the capital of the department of Huila, it is located in Andean region. Neiva is located a few hours away from the big cities, making it a city strategically located and easily accessible. Neiva is considered the Bambuquera capital of America, its low cost of living, its short distances within the city, the quality of public transport. Makes it an attractive city due to its high quality of life and beauty, its green landscapes, its culture and its kind people. Neiva has two Local Associations attached to ASCEMCOL, which have been working hand in hand in recent years and make the union and teamwork one of its greatest strengths.
